1/ The Western Cape has changed their reporting of daily deaths (via their dashboard) to date of death. Finally proper reporting! This is probably the closest we'll get to a true rate of spread chart (it seems the latest 2-4 days are subject to change, same as for case reporting) 2/ This means we can possibly figure out a true infection/contagion peak using a delay of about 22 days from infection till death using IFR + compare this to actual detected cases (😬). IFR here is 0.12%, in the range the modelling consortium is using.

1/ Yes, gas costs/fees is a problem. It's frustrating as a dev to expect some kind of action in your dapp/smart contract to have a certain cost, only to see it go & up down hugely. It's very tricky UX. There's many ways to solve this, check out @peepethApp for example.
