Ur body does not run on strange sounding heavily marketed products, it runs on simple vitamins minerals and macromolecules like carbs, protein and fat. It does not run on fad diets where one or more of the essential components for health are withdrawn or 'new' ones introduced

Part 2 of legal docs made simple
A deed has slightly different requirements from a contract. If these are not fulfilled then the assignment of rights and responsibilities from Octopod to Sharks just doesn't happen.

With debt claims two legal docs are generally involved.
Agreements (contracts) and Deeds.
I will use Octopod as an eg of an energy broker and Sharks as examples of Debt Collectors. The alleged Debtor will be known as D.

Pleadings revisited:
The first part of the pleadings is the complaint/petition which is also known as the summons.
Jurisdictional Allegations start the numbered sentences. They go a little like this:
1. This is a money claim for breach of contract for less than £xx 2. The claimant lives in the County of Gloucestershire 3. The Breach of Contract took place in Gloucestershire
4. The Defendant lives in the County of Gloucestershire5. The Court has jurisdiction

A pleading is a statement of case; the formal documents setting out the particulars of the claim, their legal basis, the defence (in 2 parts) and any reply to the defence. This corresponds with the summons, complaint+answer
It's covered under part 16 of the Civil Procedure Rule As you can see the Pleadings cover a number of documents from both sides. They must be written carefully because once the Pleadings are closed u cannot add any more information. If you don't follow the Civil Procedure Rules, the opposition could make a Motion to Dismiss

Motions to dismiss a hearing can be made on:
1) lack of subject matter jurisdiction ie is the ability of the court to exercise power over a particular type of case. (criminal, civil, family, probate etc)
2)Lack of personal jurisdiction; when u submit a complaint to the ct u are giving the court jurisdiction over yourself but what of the Defendant? Does the court have jurisdiction over them? Normally the court hears cases where the event complained of occurs or is where the Defendant resides. The rules governing this can be found in the Civil
