Our team has located the exact spot where authorities captured Danelo Cavalcante. We’ve verified several key details:
Identifying Features:
indent in the wood, consistent with Cavalcante’s bloodied face, along with blood splatter on and under nearby moss.
2.A vine cleanly cut with shears, not torn by hand.
‘L’ shaped branch, identified as a resting spot for a trooper’s arm.
4.Gradations in moss color, going from light green to dark, with blood splatter consistent with photos of Cavalcante. Dark spots on and beneath the moss align with this evidence.

5.We followed the path across Beaver Creek where authorities exited with Cavalcante in handcuffs, moving toward Little’s.
enforcement confirmed that Cavalcante dashed past a large log and army crawled. The second log, where tactical officers tripped, has been verified in our photographs. We were instructed to head left into heavy brush, which we did.
7.The capture spot is just under 300 feet from the woodpile police passed when exiting the woods.
The logs had a direct line of vision to homes on Prizer Road. This likely explains why all lights were ordered off leading up to Cavalcante’s arrest.
Note: Other viral videos claiming to have found the spot were mistaken. Those logs were actually the ones that law enforcement 1) jumped over and 2) tripped over.
