It tells us a tremendous amount about Candace Owens. Let's just start with the author's obituary, from the NYTimes, January 28, 1931.

1. As @aroberts_andrew points out, NO, Churchill did not call World War II a mistake, or regret his actions.

(Roberts is the World's foremost Churchill expert, so this one has got to sting.)

Ok, let me answer. YES, the quote is on the book jacket. But to be honest, I never imagined you'd cite a book blurb as a scholarly source.

As we all know, book jackets pull words out of context from reviews to sound positive, no matter what the review actually said.

We need look no further than the first review listed for a perfect example.

"A Sensational Idea!"

Take a few words out of context, drop a word, add an exclamation point—and the original scathing, dismissive Time magazine review is transformed into a favorable notice.

Considering that @martyrmade posted these piles of books as his "sources" only a month ago, and that "Lying About Hitler" is in the pile, the notion of him not being aware of the details is dicey.

He read an entire book about the David Irving details!

I'm worried here about pushing my relationship with @martyrmade to the breaking point. That's sincere, though hard to explain to friends.

When a guy starts with "the Jews were behind 9/11" followed by "the Jews were behind killing JFK," by the time he gets to "Epstein was a Mossad-orchestrated blackmail ring," you might forgive people for not taking his "arguments" seriously.

Memo to Ukraine supporters (of which I'm one): Sometimes your own guy can make a mistake.

1. Trump was upbeat about signing a deal, and even when Zelensky called Putin a "killer" and a "terrorist," Trump barely reacted. 2. Trump, happy with the new deal, said he now felt America was being treated fairly, and he said "yes" to more arms for Ukraine.

The interview lasted 1 hour and 2 minutes.
At 58:00 Bump was already complaining it was a "setup" and looking to extricate himself.

I will gladly make available the original recording. Not a single word is altered or omitted.

The only "cobbling" is that when I went to verify his accusation that I had "elided" key sections of testimony, I found that his claims were...
