SIMPLE TRUTHS: Behind the contrived hysteria at UNRWA lurks Western fury at the ICJ decision; If Israel is plausibly guilty of genocide, then the “enlightened” West stands guilty of complicity in genocide; (1/) They can’t lash out at the ICJ—that’s uncivilized!—so these cowardly sadists starve the children of Gaza instead. The puke beneath the thin veneer of Western Civilization has yet again burst forth.

Stop the Presses! Hamas Militants Have Day Jobs!

Let’s assume the horrible, awful, godforsaken worst: several of the 3,000 Hamas militants involved in the October 7 attack worked in UNRWA. Others no doubt worked in hospitals, bakeries, banks, and schools. I read in the morning paper that Israel is now obliterating the "terrorist hotbed" of Shuja'iya. It is among the most densely populated neighborhoods in Gaza. During Operation Protective Edge (2014), Israel already obliterated it. After the resistance killed 13 IDF soldiers, Israel fired six hundred artillery shells into Shuja'iya in less than an hour and dropped over 100 one-ton bombs.

Can Human Rights Watch Be Trusted?

The Biden administration rushed to second Israel’s allegation that Hamas was responsible for the al-Ahli hospital massacre. But when it was queried whether it supported an international investigation, the State Department tellingly responded that it “did not believe that is appropriate at this time.”

Human Rights Watch’s Bad Faith

In its preliminary report on the al-Ahli hospital massacre, HRW observes that neither Israel nor Hamas has previously carried out satisfactory criminal investigations, and it calls for an international “independent investigation” into the hospital massacre. Here’s what HRW omits. Israel has NEVER cooperated with an independent international investigation after its “operations” in Gaza. Whereas, Hamas has repeatedly cooperated: with Amnesty, with the Goldstone Mission and with other U.N. missions.

New York Times Twitter Obit on Kissinger

Henry Kissinger died at age 100.  He was reportedly very old when he died.  He had a thick German accent that won him early tenure at Harvard.  He wrote many learned tomes. It’s not known what is in them.  Kissinger still wore horn-rimmed glasses when they were no longer fashionable. He was on the shorter side.  The French would say, “more Napolean than DeGaulle.”

Human Rights Watch has stated in the past that Gaza Ministry of Health casualty figures are generally reliable.

.hrw.org/news/2023/11/2… However, in its preliminary report on the al-Ahli hospital explosion, HRW clearly posits that the Gaza Ministry of Health figure of 471 deaths was wildly exaggerated.  But HRW never bothered to ask the Ministry how it reached its figure.  Why not?

The Nazi Princess

Ursala von der Leyen, a German citizen, is president of the European Commission. She has of late lustily embraced Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza. Whenever I see a picture of her, I am reminded of Hermine Braunsteiner Ryan, the Nazi guard in Maidanek concentration camp who my late Mother helped deport to Germany (Ryan was living in Queens, New York). This monster was convicted in a German court to life imprisonment.

Brainy hunk Jordan Peterson was interviewed by Piers Morgan about Gaza. He confidently stated that “This is a last ditch attempt by the Iranian mullahs to use the Islam against Jews story to prop up their own dismal reign. And so they rattled the chain of their Hamas puppets and said provoke, and they [Hamas] did.” Not even Israeli intelligence makes such a demented claim.

Booby Journalists

Israel has shown journalists a hole in the ground at al-Shifa hospital.  Is it a tunnel shaft?  The jury is still out because—the Times credulously reports—the IDF “fearing booby traps, had not ventured down the shaft at the hospital.” (17 November) Most strange.  It designed the “miracle” of Iron Dome to deflect incoming missiles, but it can’t figure out how to deactivate a booby-trap.  Here’s an idea.  It can always rely on an old trick of the trade.

Devil’s Eiland

A headline on the front page of the NY Times poses the question, “Is Israel’s Military Strategy to Eradicate Hamas Working?” It goes on to state that the “military strategy at the heart of the ground invasion” is to “eradicate Hamas and free roughly 240 hostages.” But is that the “heart” of Israel’s military strategy? One authoritative Israeli quoted by the Times is Giora Eiland, “a retired major general in the Israel Defense Forces and former head of the Israeli National Security Council.”

The New York Times states today that Israel has justified the killing of 11,000 people in Gaza "in part by Hamas’s decision to hide its military fortifications and command centers inside civilian infrastructure like Al-Shifa." Today the IDF unveiled its proof of the sprawling Hamas command-and-control center underneath al-Shifa hospital:

Patrick Kingsley writes in the NY Times that Israel "had yet to present much evidence" that al-Shifa contained a Hamas command-and-control center.

No, you stupid fuck: it has yet to present ANY evidence. Kingsley then writes that "An Israeli military spokesman said that the search of the hospital grounds would take time."

Hold on, you stupid fuck: Didn't Israel post videos of the precise location of the command-and-control center?

Patrick Kingsley of The Times reports:

"In a video filmed at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, a military spokesman, Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus, showed about 10 guns, ammunition, protective vests and Hamas military uniforms, some of which he said were hidden behind M.R.I. machines, others in nearby storage units and some behind what he described as a 'blast-proof door.' The assertions made in the video could not be independently verified."

A hospital houses society’s most vulnerable and defenseless.

If an army can get away with targeting a hospital for annihilation, then it can target the entire population with impunity.

Al-Shifa is Gaza’s flagship hospital. It currently houses 60,000 Gazans: infants, elderly, the physically and mentally disabled, as well terrified refugees seeking haven.

In Israel’s bloodlust eyes, al-Shifa carries a huge symbolism: the last obstacle and threshold to its War of Annihilation.
