Permissionless Interoperability...
1/x
Permissionless Interoperability is the freedom to bring interoperability features (such as bridging and interchain apps) to any blockchain, anytime.
@Hyperlane_xyz is pioneering this concept with the launch of Permissionless Deployments and out-of-the-box interoperability.

Kinda disappointing that the only notable cross chain/interchain use case so far is bridging. There’s so much more we can be doing with interoperability layers.
Some other non-bridge interchain use cases I think are worth noting for future:
Interchain compute
Imagine being able to route computation to the cheapest blockchain, and settling back on the home chain near instantly. Effectively turn any blockchain into your layer 2. @Hyperlane_xyz’s point to point interop network makes this possible (in theory?)

All the recent bridge hacks are exposing how centralized most bridge security is, and how little control you have over your risk.
But what if you could customize your interchain security? What if you could control your risk?
Introducing @Hyperlane_xyz and Sovereign Consensus ⏬
Hyperlane is the interoperability protocol accelerating applications towards the Interchain. Sovereign Consensus is Hyperlane’s security layer that enables apps to permissionlessly customize their interchain security.
Many big words, wut mean? Spaceship metaphor to explain:
For an industry focused on realigning incentives between products and their users, the lack of focus on aligning incentives within the same teams and investors is pretty glaring.

Comp and incentives are structured so poorly idk how a bunch of these projects/funds are going to retain talent or keep them motivated in a bear market.

I know you're not making any money trading this bear market. Time to check out some gud reads instead, before you get liquidated.
Is there a reason DEX’s for shorting coins haven’t taken off? Low demand? Poor mechanism/incentive design? What are we missing here? Seems like decentralized way to short coins is pretty useful and opens up opportunity to run pair trades on-chain.
Does a concentrated liquidity design work for this? Let LPs decide where they want to provide shorts with liquidity in a tight range and also have corresponding range where they get stopped out, adjustable for risk tolerance. Route through this app + UniSwap for pair trades.

Just officially paid off the rest of my student loans. Made this twitter account originally to document my trading to pay off the student loans and now that I’ve finally done it, it feels… anticlimactic? My goals have evolved so much over the last 1.5 years it doesn’t feel real.
I’m thankful for everything and everyone that’s gotten me here. Still, I can’t shake the feeling that it’s not enough. I didn’t get to this point just to become complacent. I now understand the game of shifting goalposts; the hedonic treadmill we perpetually run on like hamsters.

Bear market shouldn't stop you from learning. Time to catch up on some gud reads 🫡
Your metaverse/game isn’t getting mainstream adoption until entry price is below $100. That’s fine, there’s plenty of degens + wealthy crypto players that will pay to speculate. But at some point their attention and liquidity will be spread so thin that you have to expand or die.
Most GameFi/metaverse projects are pigeonholing themselves as just crypto “games” with 4-5 figure entry prices on their limited NFT/land supply. Most are missing the point and catering to the traders/farmers while gatekeeping the users/players that actually matter.
Wow we made it to V10 already. Hope you've learned something from these lists. Feel free to keep shilling me your writing in my dm's and hmu with any feedback. Now, back to reading:
