"not all women can get pregnant so it's degrading to them to have their womanhood questioned..."

Hey if not all women can get pregnant (and not all people who can get pregnant are women) what should we call all the people who can @AnaKasparian?

hint: it's not" women". it really is that simple and she clearly knows it lol.

though it's funny imagining trying to talk about this group specifically catering to @AnaKasparian's needs. it would sound like "some women, some men and some nonbinary people who can get pregnant."

It's a bit wordy lmao

"outside the west no one is talking about cis, he/she, they/them, it/bit."

a thread; Japanese trans woman denied status as parent of her own child.

it's funny how transphobia has completely broken the community note system.

Tldr if you dont know how it works; you gain 'impact' from being agreed with. Enough rating impact means you can write and enough writing impact means your notes are more likely to be shown. they try to prevent abuse or bias by behind the scenes computer magic that means agreements from people who usually don't agree with you give you more impact or whatever but predominately your impact comes from people agreeing with you and using the system to do so.

the transphobes are pulling the "Hitler was a vegetarian" move by (incorrectly) attributing the coining of cis to a paedophile doctor.

They actually mean gender identity - not cis - which was actually coined by Money, a rancid paedophile child abuser.

But facts etc.... cis, as far as we know, was coined by a cis woman biologist called Dana Defosse. Or at least she's taken credit for it a bunch after using it in 1994.

the coining of words is really hard to pin down because it's usually attributed to who used it in a book first

idk man if the nazis are saying im a good vector for recruiting people into their nazi beliefs im probably going to consider what im doing that the nazis like so much

not sure why that's controversial but the guys who spent years making fun of teenagers online are upset about it how dare i be held accountable for attempting to portray a "reasonable" rebuttal to *checks notes* marginalised people discussing their oppressions online

i cant believe people dont think im the good guy for helping the racists :( what the hell man

gonna see if I can fit it all in the pretty case without destroying the case too bad.

Yes. 100%.

There is absolutely no way to simply rule out an entire class of people like that without it being prejudice.

It's also really disgusting in general to act like we're a kink or fetish you can just "not be into". We're human beings jack ass. It's not transphobic to find individual trans people unattractive nor is it transphobic to have preferences about the kind of sex you like to have which may or may not exclude say... penises, for example.

But yeah no "im not into trans people" is 100% transphobic. Always.

I don't think this is actually true.

while it's true that trans fems often smell nicer post transition, it's probably due to gendered hygiene routines and products.

remember sweat itself isn't stinky, the gasses bacteria on your skin give off when you sweat is! hormones don't change what bacteria live on your skin and eat your sweat. so I don't see how they would change the way it smells.

lol I'm ngl this guys parenting style sucks.

teach her a better relationship with sport than to just give up because she'll never be the best. teach her that sport is about giving it your all, doing your best and feeling proud of that even if you don't always or even ever win. I hope your daughter trains hard, comes back to the next race and kicks that trans girls ass! I hope they have a fierce rivalry that becomes a forever friendship.

And I hope she does it in spite of your shitty defeatist and frankly kind of transphobic Internet bait.

this is exactly the problem. these assholes rock up once a year to spout slogans and you celebrate them as if they don't spend the rest of the year adding to the moral panic against us.

If Mark means what he says, where is his letter to Starmer? his comments on Duffield? etc? they are no where to be seen!

ask yourself why that is!

a Transphobe did a "gender identity Ideology" check on me yesterday

Tldr they asked if a straight man becomes gay for finding a pre transition trans man attractive the answer I gave them is that this is a bullshit language trap rather than anything of substance.

The straight guy's sexuality hasn't changed - he still likes what he likes. he can change the label if he wants to because the label isn't his actual sexuality - it's a label.

"transhumanism: a loose movement that seeks to conquer death"

note: this is not what trans humanism is it's literally just the use of technology to go beyond what our biologies allow us to do.

The fact you are probably reading this on a phone is transhumanism just as much as a pace maker, insulin pump or missiles shooting out of your spinal column.

A quick history on jk rowling coming out as a bigot; she liked tweets and started following some dedicated bigot accounts

Then people were like "um are you sure?"

Jkr: "no, I'm just old"

She did it again a few times before dropping a 4000 word bigot essay and THEN we got mad I'm not saying we unanimously kept our cool and tried to be empathetic. I'm sure some were upset and lashed out at the first sign.

But by in large the community vibe at the time was giving her the benefit of the doubt up until she dropped that essay.

Just watched a new @timminchin clip where he dunks on being follower-police on twitter in a rant about how to progress the conversation

But the example he used was jk rowling... And we tried. We tried talking, explaining stuff, empathy - everything.

She's still a lying bigot. That's what people like @timminchin don't see! The fact that we did try to reach out, explain ourselves, be understood. We are still trying to do that even!

And she and her mates are still lying about us with hateful conspiracy theories.

What else is there to do but be angry?

This is a great example of the error transphobes make.

Acknowledging that some sex offenders are transgender isn't the same thing as "they think trans people are sex offenders".

"Sex offenders exist in every demographic" isn't salacious enough I guess? The question is really "do sex offenders have human rights?" as per the human rights that compelled the UK to enact the GRA.

The answer, whether we personally like it or not, is yes.

Therefore a clause excluding transgender sex offenders from this bill would likely be a breach.

If you want to safeguard women in Scotland I recommend targeting the things that actually make them unsafe - rather than whether or not a transgender can change their birth certificate. Too many of you anti trans fuck heads tried to use this bill as a means of "safeguarding women" and its just not within the scope of the legislation to do so.

It's like adding a space ship docking clause to a Lidl car park.

It makes no fucking sense.

someone said "if you dont get what's wrong with the wording you are too far gone" in support of the transphobic dogpile

so lets break it down. "December 6 is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women."

Sweet. We've got a strong start here explaining what the post is about. You can even search this to find more information on it! Lovely!

Transphobes are dogpiling samaritans for giving stats about lgbtqia+ suicidality.

Context: transphobes have spent years convincing themselves Samaritans etc agree with them and that trans people arent actually unsafe in the UK.

They are of course, wrong. They dont like that. Further context; this is one of the main differences between UK transphobia and US transphobia. US transphobes *LOVE LOVE LOVE* to bring up suicide statistics and then say that its /being trans/ that causes that as opposed to transphobia. UK transphobes go the other route.

I notice that there's already coverage from the usual suspects FOX News, Daily Wire etc about the "Huffington Post writer who can't find transphobic JK Rowling quotes!!!"

tempted to just write the piece anyway lmao. it would be funny to show how bad she must be at her job. For example; quite infamously JK Rowling's first forays into online transphobic radicalisation involved liking a tweet referring to trans women as "men in dresses."

Even she knew this was transphobic and later apologised calling it a "middle-aged moment".

Its so jarring to see the way our media portrays trans experiences in society vs our actual experiences.

Cos yeah. It is pretty chill outside of this bubble for most of us. People mostly dont care about us at all! It really drives home how transphobia is being led by the media and political classes.

fringe anti trans extremists think they are leading it, but they aren't. They are just the excuse the media and politicians need to justify blowing this issue up to distract from other shit.
