I just realized not everyone knows this lifehack, so here goes:

Never trust case rates or CDC maps. Especially if (like me) one person with a cold can take you out for months! It’s too much to keep track of & it’s increasingly unreliable.

Instead, trust in the laws of physics. I don’t need local crash statistics to buckle up, and I don’t need local case rates to mask up. Granted I’m in Florida so just leaving the house is an adventure in both areas most days lol. But I don’t mind doing one easy, highly protective thing every time I go out.
