as far as i can tell --
as a shitty teenager, if you want to lash out at authority, it's really easy to find a nominally left-wing space and act like a right-wing shithead in it while not actually having hard right-wing commitments
i think that when people say edgy shit it can come from a nonconformist "you don't get to tell me what to say" tendency
that part of it should probably be encouraged, conformism sucks

someone recently sent me a beware which i didn't repost
they have since admitted it was completely false
i have made some bewares in the past, but i'm increasingly negative on the idea of doing them now. at least: i think they should be prepared well and hard to dispute
current thoughts: if you're going to make public accusations, you need some kind of proof. screencaps aren't _great_, but if you don't even have screencaps, that's a problem

wow i really like worldbuilding textwalls
not sure if this is nyeo's setting or just a setting
i think if i were to expand this i would strongly suggest that the internet causes people to become furries
because i think that is funny

when evaluating a feature of a work of art i tend to ask "how good is this?" and "how well-executed is this?" separately
for elements that can be stolen (like chord progression) i often expand "how good?" into "how original?" and "how intentional?"
i think it's good to go feature by feature for this, but some whole-song exapmles:
- a well-executed bad song is I Want It That Way by the Backstreet Boys (insipid subject)
- a good poorly-executed song is Just Did A Bad Thing by Bill Wurtz (tons of forced rhymes)
