They fail to hold leadership accountable and accuse opposition of not doing enough so they don't have to hold leadership accountable
We should have seen same from you in times past.
They are always playing victim only when one party "attacks" them Gov't passes taxes, and we are told about failure of opposition to stop it or mobilize businesses to fight it but the voting was in Parliament and every member of ruling party voted for the taxes but nobody questions them

To help Ghana change the fundamentals of our economy and move it from import to export driven, President Akufo-Addo promised to deliver 1 District 1 factory and gov't says there are currently 150 factories in operation
6 years on, have we properly assesed its impact? Can the gov't tell us what products all these 150 factories are producing so we check if importation of them has reduced and it's impact on our economy
Six years after spending more than 2.7bn cedis in 1D 1F, the basic thing is to have this assessment

MORNING MUSINGS

Anytime the Ghanaian media asks people to share their issues of concern they want addressed(Wo haw ne sɛn), almost 90% are problems of local government failures and issues with central government
Little is said on political parties However, the media spends so much time on political parties giving solutions to every problems. Political parties have people of expertise in various fields so such people should be discussing particular issues of concern to the people

I wish kids in Ghana's basic schools start school at 8:30am because waking 4-10 year olds at 4am to prepare for school to avoid traffic and get to school by 6:30am/7am doesn't sit well with me

I experienced this as a kid fighting for trotro with elderly on dreaded Abuakwa road A lot of factors causing this include parents have to get to work early by beating the traffic and that is why we need a functioning public transport system in Ghana
Also parents have to cater for their kids by having a work schedule flexible enough to meet such responsibilities

I don't know about others but I sometimes wonder why many of the things we faced as children were even acceptable
As kids, if your teacher met you outside after school hours playing football or any games, they beat you in school the next day As kids, we were sent to school by our parents in their cars whilst others as 8 year olds lived far away fighting over trɔtrɔ with the elderly
Why did teachers beat or punish us for not getting numbers or roll call?

When a government realizes it has failed, it resorts to haphazard and uncoordinated putting up of infrastructure to confuse the uninitiated and fickle minds
It's an age old tactic So you realize every 2 weeks, NPP aparachiks will drop a road being constructed or a school building saying Akufo-Addo is working
We owe road contractors over 5bn cedis and anytime we give them deadline to pay, we fail
However we should praise Akufo-Addo he's constructing roads

There's this attempt to always blame and attack Parliament for some of the problems Ghana faces by people because of ignorance
How do we blame Parliament for ineptitude of executive when it has always been huge majority of MPs from ruling party who are always whipped in line? We are just lucky the 2020 Parliamentary elections ended the way it did which for the first time got the Candidate for Speaker from the ruling party losing the Speakership elections
Imagine what those in power would have done with absolute control of Parliament

Because Son is always used as a counterattacking threat, he can't track back against Reece James after Spurs went to a back 4
Conte should have brought a defensive minded person on immediately they equalized and James went to back 3
This is on Conte

See the space James had Conte in that fight with Tuchel after Spurs equalized did the damage because he couldn't calm down to read properly and respond to Aspilecueta change to switch Chelsea to back 3 and James WB attacking Son

Similar happened to Arteta at Anfield last season after Klopp bust up

Yes the huge spending on Free SHS is a big problem and must be addressed devoid of sentiments and tagging

Don't look at gov't spending in general because there are other important spending as on education like health, housing, security etc

My reasons below First is to look rather at the spending on Free SHS out of the education budget
If gov't allocate X cedis to education and Y cedis is spent only on Free SHS then we must interrogate what X and Y here represent
This will give proper perspective not overall gov't spending
