Al Jazeera, for a 2023 documentary, embedded directly with the Jenin Brigades and explained how they emerged in 2021 after nearly two decades of relative calm.

Having withdrawn from Tulkarem and Tubas on the third day of their largest military incursion into northern West Bank since 2002, Israel is still continuing its military raid on Jenin.

Here are the key details:

- Attorney Khaled Mahajana visited the "Sde Yemen" detention facility, nicknamed the "death camp," where over 4,000 Palestinians from Gaza arrested after October 7 are being held.
- The conditions at the facility are described as more horrifying than anything seen at Abu Ghraib or Guantanamo.
- Detainees are kept in shackles around the clock, blindfolded, and subjected to severe physical punishments.
- Mahajana met with journalist Muhammad Arab, who had been detained for 100 days and was in poor condition, covered in dirt, lice, and pigeon droppings.
- Arab reported cases of rape and sexual assault of detainees by guards, as well as deaths due to violent interrogations.
- Detainees are not allowed to talk, pray, or read the Koran, and are only given one roll of toilet paper per 100 prisoners each day.
- Mahajana expressed frustration and helplessness, stating that the international community and courts need to take action to save the prisoners from the torture and abuse they are experiencing.
