Atsumu picks the class based on the reputation of the prof being easygoing. He doesn’t actually care about the class, but he’s got to get it out of the way, so it goes into his fall schedule. He definitely notices Sakusa early on, because who has the right to look that hot and that pissed off at the same time? But they don’t actually talk (Sakusa doesn’t talk to anyone in the class) until they’re paired together for a research project.

Because just imagine the first thing to make the twins not identical being when Osamu starts getting his marks in high school, and he only has to get three before he and Suna realize they’ve been coming in at the same times and become disgustingly happy with one another.

Just like a time travel/future projection #sakuatsu type deal where high school Omi jumps 10 years in the future and he obviously wakes up in bed wrapped around Atsumu in their shared apartment. He starts panicking & freaking out and Atsumu knows exactly what he needs to hear and do to calm down, which itself makes him panic more. Like why tf does Miya from Inarizaki know to only touch the back of his neck and bring him black tea and a weighted blanket??

Kiyoomi is stopped dead in the doorway of his homeroom. He senses a pair of girls behind him too nervous to ask him to move. He’s not sure he could right now, even if they mustered the courage.

The Sleepy Omi agenda continues: sorta a sequel to my last #sakuatsu, but we’ll see where it goes.

So they’re dating now, not quite living together but Omi has gotten comfortable enough to spend the night without wanting to murder Atsumu for having seen him vulnerable. Omi has actually picked up a bad habit.

It started when he drifted into half-sleep leaning on Atsumu’s shoulder while watching one of Atsumu’s truly horrendous picks for movie night. He wasn’t fully out when he felt Atsumu shift and heard the shutter sound of his phone’s camera.

It starts with Bokuto, though it takes the rest of the Black Jackals a while to notice and to believe him. Standing by the bench at practice, he responds to polite inquiries about his weekend plans with “Hopefully Keiji and I won’t be getting out of bed for 48 hours.”

Inunaki spews his mouthful of water out, and Bokuto looks uncharacteristically abashed.

Except is it really fake dating if only one of them knows? Bc I’m thinking 3rd year Atsumu who is trying to prove that he’s over Kita and that he’s not still moping Osamu’s quitting. So he’s like “No I haven’t been just sulking around, I’ve been talking to my BOYFRIEND. Why haven’t you seen us together? Because he lives in Tokyo, obviously.”

Osamu just rolls his eyes, used to Atsumu’s lies, but the rest of the team is like…not sure whether to buy it or not.

#sakuatsu Soulmate Goose AU, idk how many people know this one so a little setup & the post it came from. Every soulmate pair gets a goose day. It’s random who will be the one the goose shows up in front of & who the goose will lead to. (The gooser and goosee? That’s not right.) The goose, being a goose, makes it hard on the person it’s leading to their soulmate. There’s usually scrapes and bruises by the end. But the goose will NOT leave it’s person alone until they reach their destination.

Ok them’s the rules, now we can get into this sakuatsu proper.

Idk is there a specific name for that one? Like where any writing on your soulmate’s body shows up on yours? Anyway. Kiyoomi starts getting just the traces of letters when he’s twelve. Clearly not the entirety of whatever was on his soulmate’s body, but half of the characters for “homework” on his palm or “3:15 pick up” fading into a smear down his arm.
