The majority intraday scalp 0dtes, react to every candle, and end up with terrible R/R.

One major improvement in my system this year came from simplifying everything down to the 30 min pivot.

Strict entries, clear risk, & a repeatable framework.

Here’s exactly how I use it: 🧵 What is the 30 minute pivot?

It's very simple.

After an opening flush or a sharp retracement, I wait for the first green 30 minute candle to close.

That candle becomes my pivot.
If the high of that candle gets taken out, I enter long.

My stop goes at the low of the pivot candle, or at LOD (depending on the volatility and my risk preference)

This gives me instant clarity on risk before I even enter.

No guessing.
