Faceshields (A thread)
As usual the answer to such a question is not straightforward. For those who do not want to read on, the summary is that a good faceshield does confer significant protection. However there are caveats and nuances so let's look at what is known. /1 (The knowledge comes from simulation studies, or earlier research on other droplet-transmitted viruses).
