So ... overwhelmingly teachers answering this believe that pupils who are the youngest in their year group who are most likely to be excluded. Are they right?
Well, first to thing to say is I couldn't find any recent data. And the old data isn't decisive.
So, it would be great if, say, @FFTEduDatalab or a similarly resourced organisation, could research the birth month of excluded pupils.

The latest school shaming story seems to exist in many different and contradictory versions, sometimes in the same article.
You can tell who hates teachers by how willingly people accept the worst possible version.
50 kids sent home for having the wrong socks... yeah right.
So there's a version in which the head is accused of "sending 50 kids home in one day for wearing wrong socks".
There's also the version where that's the total number in the wrong uniform.
And there's the version where the majority of those quickly corrected their uniform...
