1. Yesterday Zelensky suspended prosecutor general Iryna Venediktova.

The world mostly knows her as the face of Russian war crimes' investigations in Ukraine, delivering emotional comments on CNN or standing over mass graves in Bucha.

That's not how I will remember her. 2. I will remember Venediktova as a political appointee who put pressure on the Kyiv Post, a newspaper I worked at for 10 years, over our critical coverage of her work.

Her pressure eventually resulted in the shutdown of Kyiv Post (after 26 years) and firing of the staff in Nov.

There is one consequence of the war that isn't talked about that much: What it does to young women and their plans to start a family.

This is today in Vinnytsya, a central Ukrainian city far from hostilities, where many have relocated from more dangerous areas.

Russia hit it with 3 missiles, killing at least 20 people, including 3 children.

This is the Ukrainian member of the @FoxNews crew. She was killed today alongside their cameraman.

Fox News doesn’t even mention her in their report.

(Photo published by Oksana Romaniuk of the Institute of Mass Information) A local man, who works as a producer, says he has been rejecting Fox News offers partly because of their attitude to security. He says he knows details of the attack.
