web3 is coming for the music industry. Music NFTs are getting more and more attention - but what about fungible tokens aka cryptocurrencies? I think it's time for another 🧵: During the gold rush, it was the people selling spades who made the most money. Whilst collecting music NFTs is fun and incredibly important, there is also something to be said about investing in the platforms that are building the new bedrock of the web3 music industry.

I believe we are on the cusp of a serious bull run in music NFTs. I don't proclaim myself an expert but here is how I plan to position myself in an attempt to ride the wave (a 🧵): Firstly just to say, this thread is a lot more price-focused than anything I usually write. Mostly I buy music NFTs to support artists I love. However, I see no reason why we as collectors cannot also benefit from the appreciation of value on assets we collect too. So here goes..
