List of Food you can eat as a Nigerian (home and abroad) or include in your meal timetable if you have one:

1. Beans in Ewa aganyin form
2. Ila Alasepo and Amala/Eba
3. Pancakes, eggs and sausage
4. Boiled plantain and sauce
5. Fried yam and sauce
6. Asaro and vegetable 7. Fried Irish/sweet potatoes with eggs or sauce
8. Akara and Ogi
9. Porridge Beans
10. Egusi and Amala
11. Toast bread and tea
12. Boli and Fish with Sauce
13. Grilled fish/Turkey/Chicken with Fries.

My friend once invited me and the fam to an event and I immediately gave her word that we’d be there.

Her husband invited my husband to the same event and his response was : “I’ll discuss with my wife and get back to you”

This particular occurrence taught me some things. I realized that I was used to agreeing to certain things without consulting my partner and then in turn ‘Forcing’ him to accept.That is proper toxic behavior and I’m glad I identified it.

He on the other hand would always make sure to consult me first and that is more healthy.

Before I got pregnant , I was about 70kg. During the first three months, the hyperemesis gravidarum was severe and it made me drop so much. I think I was about 60. I grew so lean that my husband became really worried. Fast forward to about two months later, I was more chubby but my tummy wasn’t getting big. I know you guys probably have your reasons for saying Praying five times daily is bare minimum but I don’t think so and here is why. Solat is an obligatory part of worship and it is what essentially differentiates a Muslim from a non Muslim. That’s a given.

However, it goes beyond doing Wudhu and then Rukhu and Sujud five times a day. It is all encompassing
