Identifying the last TPO Profile before an Imbalance (Break from Balance) occurs can help provide additional range and levels of interest. We call this an Island Day...defined as a lack of Overlapping Value to the right/following day. What can we infer from identifying an Island Day?

By zoning the Value of an Island Day, we know where both parties found 'Fair Value' before an Imbalance occurred. Since we know which way the Imbalance broke, we know who actually got Value from their positioning and who didn't

BAH/BAL:

Establishing a Balance Area High & Low (Overlapping Value) provides tradable ranges and trackable patterns. Here we have created a Composite Profile of the 3 Day Balance Area and can see Aggressive Buyers fail to auction above the BAH... This leads to a 'Destination Trade' from Composote VAH > VAL and ultimately closing near the Balance Area Low. The lack of Buyers willing to pay a premium above previous 'Fair Value' leads to the sell off as price auctions lower to find willing Buyers.
