Bi erasure kills and kinda tired of the community running to remind us it’s a privilege every pride

It reminds me of the disability hierarchy and I’m tired of hierarchies There are many experiences of queerness, just like there are many experiences of disability

I feel like the disabled community, for the most part, understands this nuance, and I just really want the lgbtqi to grasp the nuance too bc I’m tired

only non-disabled queers have marriage equality

just a reminder

queer marriage equality doesn’t exist for disabled queers we talk a lot about how disabled people don’t have marriage equality, but the link between the intersection of queerness and disability is never quite grasped

queer disableds don’t have marriage equality

so do queers actually have marriage equality?

It’s ableist to make disabled people who need accessible seating pay a higher tier at an event or concert because the accessible seating is closer to the stage.
I will die on this hill. I constantly see events do this. Heck, we just got accessible Billie Eilish tickets in which we had to pay £95 simply because accessible tickets are close to the stage.
If I could pay £60 for the lowest tier I would, but my legs don’t work.
Ableism

Interesting how a certain brand of people don’t want vaccine passports, but then always expect disabled people to have proof of our disabilities and be “registered disabled” 🤔 You don’t want vaccine passports? But you also want disabled people to jump through a million and one holes to “prove” they’re disabled? Interesting

saying captions on film ruin “the art” so they shouldn’t be there, disabled people can do without, is like saying ramps ruin architecture, disabled people can do without are you really an artist if you’re so scared of accessibility ruining your ‘art’ 🤷‍♀️

Being shouted & called Scrounger in the street when visibly disabled, despite fraud accounting for 1% of the budget, is my reality lol This article perfectly puts into words how terrifying being on disability benefits actually is in Tory Britain
