Here's what I've learned while serving 2 decades of my life in the Canadian Armed Forces. It didn't take long to identify those who didn't work well with others, those people were very opinionated about what's broken (planes, ships, equipment, personnel etc) but never .. Image .. offered any solutions to said problems. I was taught by my mentors (which includes my parents) that if something is wrong don't just simply say something is broken without offering any solutions, when you do that you are quite literally wasting everyone's time. I taught my.. Image

For those people who are outraged that they don't have access to news from Meta and Instagram. Do you know why they removed Canadian news stories from their platforms? They refuse to pay Canadian news outlets for their content/ receiving fair compensation for THEIR work. The online news act it designed to protect Canadian news outlets. Fyi you still have access to news despite Pierre's conservatives rhetoric, all you need to do is go straight to the source. So much Conservative outrage simply because the govt refuses to succumb to Meta's threats.

Here's what Pierre Poilievre's Conservative Party is selling:
*They don't believe in climate change (Party delegates voted not to recognize climate crisis as real)
*They don't support Indigenous rights (They oppose UNDRIP) *They don't support that the government must take action to close the unacceptable gap in pay between men and women (VOTE NO.12, 42nd parliament)
*They don't condemn Islamophobia and all forms of systemic racism and religious discrimination (voted against M-103)

I'm sorry, but I have to ask, do people actually believe Pierre Poilievre's "common sense" or "bring it home" sound bites? It's beyond ridiculous to believe that "his" party somehow cares about struggling Canadians. There's only one reason why Pierre's conservatives want to.. .. "axe the tax" , spoiler it has absolutely nothing to do with protecting hard working Canadians pay cheques, it's more about protecting those record breaking profits from certain corporations that have been willfully price gouging you and your families over the last 2 years.

I apologize in advance as this may be a long tweet. Before you believe the narrative that Canada is broken. I served in the CAF for over decades of my life. I frequently left home for months on end and here's the thing while we were away from home, we didn't talk about politics.. .., we talked about our families, friends and all the things we'd do when we came back home. In many instances when people saw the Canadian flag on our uniforms it made them smile, they reminded us of how lucky we are to be Canadian. I know Canada isn't perfect but I truly..

Anyone else notice how Pierre Poilievre remained silent for days when Roe v Wade was overturned and now he remains silent to denounce Jeremy Mackenzie, I'd like to remind Canadians that Pierre voted against condemning Islamophobia and does not support the UNDRIP. Coincidently... ...Pierre just happens to remain silent while a certain premier is suggesting "private innovation" as the answer to alleviate the strain on our healthcare system. I know he adamantly claims to be against "elites" and "gatekeepers" but here's the thing Pierre paid $300k to be..

If you value our healthcare system you might want to hold off voting conservative since this party has long history of legislating HC cuts, "for the people".
If you value the public education system you might want to hold off voting conservative since this party has a long... ... history of legislating public education cuts, "for the people".
If you value unions you might want to hold off voting conservative since this party has a long history of fighting against unions and their collective bargaining rights, "for the people".

What I learned from Conservatives during the pandemic.

*Doug Ford likes to make cheesecake.
*Jason Kenney's "best summer ever" didn't go as planned.
*Scott Moe's "we're going to have a great SK summer" also didn't go as planned.
*Ignoring covid safety measures is a thing. *Brian Pallister suggested that the colonization of Canada was done with good intentions.
*Mr.Kenney, Ford, Pallister and Moe resisted paid sick leave, changing school class sizes and minimum wage increases.
*Maximizing profits in LTC facilities trumps seniors quality of care.

So let me get this straight the Conservative Party of Canada claims that they will have a real approach to climate change meanwhile they recently voted against recognizing that climate change is real. They also stated that they will have a serious approach to..

@erinotoole Many sites have conveniently been recently edited.

1. Erin is the son of a career politician who also worked in upper management for GM
2. Erin closed 9 veteran affairs offices to balance Stephen Harper's budget, all he had to do was turn his back to veterans @erinotoole 3. Erin believes residential schools were designed to educate as opposed to what really happened. Kidnapping Indegenous children
4. Erin opposed CERB & CESB
5. Erin didn't vote to remove Mr.Sloan
6. Erin was a high profile corporate lawyer

So let me get this straight Erin O'toole promises a serious approach to Indegenous reconciliation should he become Prime Minister, meanwhile he recently claimed:
•residential schools were designed to provide education
•requires a study to understand what systemic racism is

•supports Mr.Kenney's controversial critical infrastructure defence bill

Before you believe Erin O'toole's narrative that Conservatives are fighting for us, please be aware of what they did the last time Conservatives formed government. Also please keep in mind that Erin O'toole supported all of it.

Conservative logic.

1. Solve climate change by entirely ignoring the problem.

2. Solve gun related violence by loosening gun laws.

3. Circumvent abortion rights by introducing "matter of conscience" legislation.

4. Protect statues over living beings.

5. Legislate cuts to healthcare services during a pandemic.

6. Maximize school class sizes but limit social gatherings.

7. Ignore social distancing & wearing masks but deflect blame on medical experts if you contract the Coronavirus.

8. Present conspiracy theories as facts

Dear 🇨🇦 please understand when you don't vote you don't matter in the eyes of the government. Students if you want the govt to hear your frustrations with rising tuition costs, VOTE. If you're outraged over the state of LTC homes, VOTE. cbc.ca/news/canada/vo… If support teachers, VOTE. If you support our healthcare workers, VOTE. If you're angry that women, LGBTQ2, indigenous people, minorities must still fight for basic rights in 2020, VOTE. If you're tired of gun related tragedies, VOTE.

Mr.O'toole when you state you're pro-choice but agree to allow conservative members to reopen the abortion debate Canadians realize you're using this loophole to avoid personal accountability. When you state climate change is real but still support industries that directly contribute to it Canadians realize you don't have the ability to understand simple scientific truths. When you state it must be a top priority to improve the relationship between the government and Indigenous communities but refuse to acknowledge

The next time Erin O'toole states a Conservative govt will be: engaged, ethical and compassionate.
This is what a Conservative govt believes is ethical...

1. Airbus affair-1995
PM Brian Mulroney was implicated in a kickback scheme to purchase Airbus planes for Air Canada. 2. In and Out-2007
Circumvention of election finance rules by the Conservatives in the 2006 election campaign.

3.ETS scandal-2000s
Alleged wrongdoing by Canadian government officials in the award of a $400-million information technology services contract.

So let me get this straight. We have countless Conservative MPs that have been guests on Rebel Media, One who has made protesting illegal and actually legislated a power grab to undermine democracy (Mr.Kenney's Bill 1&10), One leader who used party funds for personal expenses... ...One in Ontario that frequently circumvented qualifications to hire friends. Another one that mismanaged a 4.7 Billion corporate handout to O&G (Mr.Kenney again). One who recited passages from the New Zealand mosque shooter manifesto to a Muslim witness who was testifying...

I always wondered what kind of person subscribes to Rebel Media? That mystery was finally answered today, while waiting outside to pick up my pet food order I had a brief conversation with a gentleman about CV-19. He informed PMJT travels to Wuhan 5 times a week. 🤔

At first I thought he was joking, unfortunately he was serious. He urged me that I should watch as much Rebel Media as possible to enlighten myself. I really wanted to point out the many loop holes with his entire statement but figured I'd let natural selection do its work.
