Enlightenment parenting. A good epistemology applies everywhere, including raising kids. Here’s my summary our current best theory for raising children based on David Deutsch and Aaron Stupple. Non-coercive parenting unleashes human creativity in both parent and child, accelerates the growth of knowledge, and continues the Enlightenment. 1. Children are full people. There is no fundamental distinction between adults and children in terms of rationality, rights, or creativity. A child might be ignorant of knowledge you have, or you might not yet understand their problem situation and goals, but they are often more purely rational than adults who often carry anti-rational memes installed by coercion.
