The Israeli government has decided to establish five new settlements in isolated areas deep in the occupied West Bank by legalizing five illegal outposts: Givat Assaf, Adorayim, Sde Ephraim, Evyatar, and Heletz.

In a few minutes a Supreme Court panel presided by its President will hold a decisive hearing on an important petition with far-reaching implications submitted by @sfardm on behalf of @PeaceNowIL and Palestinian landowners south of Bethlehem. The petition challenges the decision to allocate a hill (A-Nahla) that was expropriated from Palestinians for the purpose of establishing a new neighborhood for the Efrat Settlement (Givat Eitam, or E2).
