@RisdonShawna Because the system is set up based on financial incentives: each student from K-9 is worth money (the per student grant), and each high school student CREDIT is worth money. That money is what fuels each school division. 1/x @RisdonShawna Based on division enrolment numbers (which are now, thanks to the UCP, calculated as a 5 year rolling average) the division's total grant from the government is calculated. It isn't as simple as just counting up K-9 students and HS credits, of course ... 2/x
