I do not want to draw away everyone's attention from @idontexistTore three part series of articles on Sudan today (I am still reading them myself). However, this comment from Part I stuck out for me.

"But revolutions do not fail only because dictators refuse to leave. They also fail when the men with guns step in afterward and refuse to let the people govern." 2/10
Isn't that pretty much how every revolution has played out throughout history and currently what the Sudanese civilian population are enduring as they seek their independence to self-govern?
