Hard to really judge the full Hearts proposal without seeing the detail but here is my 2p worth if anyone’s interested.

I’ve said consistently since recon was first proposed that I felt the only possible model for the Premiership would be 14 teams.

1/
If not paying parachute money out this season helps reduce the impact on prize money of having an additional two teams next term then in theory I think it might get the support it needs from the top flight teams.

In my day job I work with email platforms of various types on a daily basis.

I'm a little bit of a geek but excuse that for a second and let me take a slightly deeper dive into the murky world of the Dundee email and what has been reported.

Bear with me............. 1/ I've seen it reported that Dundee's original email may have been "blocked by the SPFL firewall".

It's good and common practice for organisations to filter incoming emails for viruses/spam before they are delivered to recipients.

A Scotland win on Tuesday night against Israel would seal 1st place in group C1 for us and earn a place in the League C Euro play offs.

We would also be promoted to League B for the next Nations League (which Germany, Iceland, Poland and Croatia have all just been relegated to). If we fail to qualify for the Euros via the traditional route (qualifying draw is made once the Nations League is finished) then we would have the fallback option of qualifying via the League C play offs.

One Euro 2020 spot is up for grabs via the League C play offs.
