DE Kock Memo (Feb 2023): Late Adv Rodney de Kock (then senior NPA/Deputy NDPP) reviewed ALL opinions on Chauke's handling of Cato Manor racketeering + Mdluli murder dockets. His clear conclusion? NO BASIS for any fitness inquiry. Chauke had given satisfactory explanations. No bad faith. Pursuit "not worthwhile."

A young man JV Esterhuyse compiled a book based on questions about what young people thought of Ntate Mandela.
He put together a manuscript & presented a proposal to @NMCF_SA/ Foundation. Achmat Dangor accepted the proposal & NMFC endorsed the book.
JV was then to source donors The Nelson Mandela Children's Fund/Foundation then gave him an advance to seek donors.
JV went to London, got BBC interested & other donors. BBC wanted the book to have a foreword by uTata.
This never came through despite manuscript having been given to Zelda to forward to Tata
