Hey INTERNATIONAL Tweeps. #Australian Mining companies are buying the East Slopes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains for cheap to do open-pit, mountain top removal mining of metallurgical coal. Check out & support this facebook group facebook.com/groups/alberta… And #MakeSomeNoise The proposed areas were sneakily removed from protection by our own provincial government. Not only will it permanently scar & destroy the landscapes, this type of mining is a significant threat to both water quality and water quantity in a dry zone.
