On JDF: A story, and some initial thoughts. 🧵

I went to my first PMC in 2010. I had just started dating someone and decided to get him a gift from the con. A JDF autograph because Tommy was his favorite Ranger. But his line was miles long all weekend and I was losing hope. It was still bad on Sunday afternoon, and we all knew it was our last chance. The people manning his table said they were going to cap the line so JDF could leave on time for his flight.

That is not what happened.
