SDB with 150km range would be a serious in-depth strike capability multiplier

Ukraine has suffered two massive casualty events in the past days and our hearts go out to those who are suffering but we have some news that will bring relief! Taken one by one they are small, taken together, we are seeing some glacier changes. 1/n
Kissinger, hated, justifiably, by many, has come out in support of Ukraine’s NATO ambition. This is not small, both in change in attitude and as in general message 2/n

Thread on rather AMZING* Ukraine’s success with SAM operations but also MAJOR pitfalls of doing that. Covering mostly missile/drone attacks, fix winged crafts are for another time
*I feel for every one of those lost in those attacks but 82% success rate is amazing compared.. 1/10 Image with Israeli Iron Domes 90% which is ONLY so because the system CHOOSES targets, its 90% of engaged, NOT 90% of those shot at them! 2/10

Regarding the mobilization news. Few interesting tidbits and one theme to argue. First, the order WILL have an immediate effect. Why? All contracts are frozen and now they will force refusniks. We know there has been plenty of them, it’s a small but not insignificant stopgap. 1/7 Second. All things being perfect (none of them are) it may take a year to make a working division, so they will do smaller units(as small as a company) AND they will start sending them in piecemeal. I’m betting first guys will be at front in 2 weeks. 2/7

While Ukraine's win is a must another change I truly wish is the end of ruski mir. Their dirty money out of other countries politics and academia but also their dreadful dangerous diplomatic power out of anywhere
We have 🇺🇦 vs 🇷🇺, 🇦🇲 vs 🇦🇿, 🇹🇯 vs 🇰🇬, 🇬🇪 vs 🇷🇺 and 🇰🇿 🤝🇨🇳 1/n While we all know about 🇺🇦 vs 🇷🇺, its the only war where the bad guy is clear. In all other conflicts there are centuries of horrible horrible history and USSR made everything in its power to make it worse, Crimea where in ´53? 2/

Considering Ru finally cutting off NS1 and some tankie ideas, a thread about “EnergyWars” This isn’t about money or market availability, that conflict we WON decades ago, its not even close(more below). This conflict is about hearts and minds and FEAR which we MUST NOT succumb 1/ We were fools to 1) link our energy needs to a dictatorship 2) cheapness of that energy was a mirage anyway, the planet paid the price and now we are hurting but its not even close what’s happening in Russia 2/

Donatella, the queen of westsplaining is both cruel and stupid (She was the FSB info using, Ukraine should abandon its civilians after Bucha lady) But the 500 million sum does rise some questions, so a short thread 1/n This deal is indeed in the making and would mostly compass the oh so great HIMARS systems, its done in cooperation with LV/LT (who are getting more) so are aiming for some serious firepower in here! 2/n

Why this is a horrible take in 3 parts aka Russia will NOT use NUKES!
1) Failed Western academia
2) No honor among thief's (Russia)
3) Glass, glass everywhere
1/ 1) He must have know its a bad take because he blocked comments but he still went for it? Well a commenter says hes know to be easily paid for! Bonus points when he later claims its was an "experiment" for connectivity...

In the last few days there has been a lot questions, stemming from Lithuania honoring the EU 4th embargo package. Will Russia militarily attack LT (and EST/LV)?
Short answer is NO! Russia will not attack the Baltic's and NATO
🧵⬇️ Baltics have not been as safe as they are in the last 30y (and arguably 300y) Why? Pragmatics first, there has never been so few Russian troops behind our boarders, it’s a literal ghost town! Confirmed by highest rankings in Estonian intel-services. 1/
