It might sound paradoxical coming from a brutal civil war but I think Syria is in a better position than nearly all other Arab or even Muslim Countries. I think this is one of its “virtues” in the Islamic sense.

I am going to respond to some of the arguments and delusions Ive seen regarding fiat, gold and bitcoin.
Fiat is not equal to financial speculation. There are also mechanisms to protect against liberalism and negatives of modernism and they are not inherently related to fiat. Just like an individual can, so can a State. Being reactionary/contrarian for its own sake is instant fail.

@jack71574535 The real difference was/is the social tech, the elite’s ability to organize, lead, and build organizations. organizational systems are a science. Institutions can be designed. What was once a bottleneck, information about effective systems, is now abundant.
