The first viral video tweet (305k+ views) of Indian cricket fans chanting “Death to Pakistan” & clashing was circulated on Aug 29 by [deleted] @tragicbud. The narrative tied violence, which sometimes accompanies cricket matches, to “Hindutva” nationalist objectives.
