Midjourney gives you so much creative freedom to express yourself.
Whether you're creating movie trailers, or just playing around to come up with a certain way to communicate a feeling through images, crafting your shot is something you have to consider.
Here is an example where I'm using the same subject (a woman sitting in a diner) and applying different lighting conditions as well as camera angles.
Note: In this case, I have not used any explicit style tokens or names of any movie directors.
Lighting is key to evoke different moods (melancholic, hopeful, etc.)
Camera angles can also change the mood, tone and narrative of a scene.
Give it a go and see how these things improve your images.
Another interesting perspective is the first person point of view (POV). Notice in this image that there are objects really close up that makes it feel like you're sitting across the table from the subject.

Tutorial - How to design logos using generative AI
Follow along this thread for my workflow, thinking process, and general tips for designing logos using either Midjourney or Stable Diffusion.
For logos in general, I would go for simplicity, minimalism and 2d designs rather than complexity.
Keep in mind the number of colors and color gradients especially when these logos need to be printed on different items like business cards, flyers, menus, tote bags, posters, etc.
You'll also need to note that the max size generated by Midjourney is 1024x1024 so you'll need to find a good upscale.
Square aspect ratios work best unless you have special requirements for different shapes or aspect ratios.
Negative prompts - in Midjourney, use the --no option.
--no fonts words text letters characters alphabet alphanumeric symbols
These are not 100% foolproof so sometimes you'll still need to do some post-processing if weird symbols get incorporated.
In the rest of this thread, I will show you some specific examples with the actual prompts I'm using.
Read on for more...
Start simple and add words as you go along.
We'll start with two different subjects - sailboat and makeup.
minimalist, simple logo, sailboat --no fonts words text letters characters alphabet alphanumeric symbols
minimalist, simple logo, makeup --no fonts words text letters characters alphabet alphanumeric symbols
If you have a certain color scheme, add them in. I'm going with red and light blue here.
minimalist, logo, makeup, red and light blue colors --no fonts words text letters characters alphabet alphanumeric symbols
I also like to experiment. Sometimes, I'll take out certain words to see what the impact is.
Let's remove 'minimalist'.
logo, makeup, red and light blue colors --no fonts words text letters characters alphabet alphanumeric symbols
As you can see, the word 'minimalist' has a huge impact on the result. These might be too difficult for printing, so let's stick with the minimalist style.

Tutorial - Use Midjourney to create T-shirt designs.
You may want to create designs that you can sell as print on demand, or on Etsy or just for your own use.
Here are some general tips to consider.
1. Sometimes Midjourney will produce images of designs on T-shirts. One way… https://t.co/RsVV0PhnkPtwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
Here's an example of how '--no t-shirt' changes the result using the exact same prompt.
This isn't always fail safe. Sometimes those t-shirt images still manage to sneak by. 🤪
But if you're getting actual photos of t-shirts rather than just the design, this would be the first… https://t.co/gGMRe8KERntwitter.com/i/web/status/1…

Tutorial - How to use the seed parameter in Midjourney
First of all, what exactly is a seed?
In programming, a seed is used to save the state of a random function, so that it can generate same random numbers on multiple executions of the code on the same machine or on different… https://t.co/MawtPJ3iPvtwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
Even if you don't specify the seed, there is still a way you can retrieve the seed from any of your previous image generations.
