ok heres the 100% factual from the salt mines of research truth: for 99% of people it is functionally impossible to lose weight once you have gained it unless you can commit to eating an uncomfortably low caloric intake for the rest of your life without ever slipping up item 2 is that exercise contributes little or nothing to weight loss. it contributes significantly to lowering mortality, illness and injury (except when it doesnt, or has significant negative effects, for example in some ME-CFS patients) so you should do it anyway
