Over the space of that year I became pregnant w/ my eldest child. I attended my sisters wedding then later my grandmothers funeral who we lost to cancer. I flew pregnant both times. H1N1 was well known at the time of the funeral.

As of 2016 seven of the ten most-profitable hospitals in the USA are nonprofit hospitals, each earning more than $160 million from patient care services, according to a study in Health Affairs.

A woman with a successful career, lasting and swoon worthy marriage, two healthy and well adjusted children. @matthewjdowd 1/ It’s all the result of the zero sum outlook of so many on the right. Until a few years ago I couldn’t figure out so many of their conclusions, behaviors & beliefs. Why they defined certain groups the way they did. Once I realized they saw everything under the lens of... @matthewjdowd 2/ zero sum it all made sense. If someone else gains or wins then they believe they lose. Since I see the world as more of a collaboration I didn’t recognize this at first. My view is if we lift one another up then we rise further together.
