STORY OF INDIA'S LONGEST EXPRESSWAY TODAY!

At 1:30 PM today, 16th Nov 2021, Purvanchal Expressway will be inaugurated.

2002: Project was announced by Mayawati. Connecting Lucknow & Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh. Nothing happened after this till 2015.

#PurvanchalExpressway 2015: Foundation stone was laid by Akhilesh. Project changed to Lucknow-Azamgarh-Ballia Expressway.
Nothing happened after this till 2017. The project got stuck with difficulties in land acquisition & allegations of scams.
