$META increased R&D by 42% YoY last quarter.
This by far had the largest impact on Net Income.
A lot of this R&D is discretionary, and RL related.
If META reduces the speed of R&D, NI would directly be positively impacted, and they will. Image 2/
Looking at the Cash Flow Statement you can see Top line could've been much higher if R&D was tweaked lower.
By default, their Net Cash by Operating Activities would also be impacted positively.
Again, this is mostly discretionary I would guess. Image
