All proceedings in the House of Commons has been suspended, before Parliament breaks for conference recess. The Commons will not sit again until 17 October, OVER ONE MONTH AWAY. This country is in crisis. We're facing a cost of living crisis with obscene energy bills; communities are preparing 'warm banks' to go alongside their food banks; interest rates are set to rise; healthcare is in freefall; I could go on. But Parliament has ONE MONTH OFF.
