This past year, Rabbis for Human Rights has stood at the forefront of justice, compassion, and action during times of immense challenge. In the wake of the October 7th tragedy and the ensuing brutal war, we redoubled our commitment to protecting vulnerable communities.
In the West Bank, we delivered 80 metric tonnes of food aid to Palestinian communities, mobilized over 1,000 volunteers during the olive harvest, and maintained a protective presence for shepherding communities under constant threat.

Last week the World Council of Churches (WCC) Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine & Israel made the decision to remove Ecumenical Accompaniers from Hebron due to concerns about harassment by the Jewish community of Hebron & the IDF protecting them. 1/10
This was done at the same time that the Government of Israel decided not to renew the mandate of the Temporary International Presence in Hebron (TIPH) which has been in place since 1997. 2/10
