Weekly #elrondtech 🛠️ 1/ Metastaking Phase 1 is live on the mainnet - Maiar DEX users can now stake $RIDE tokens and get $RIDE rewards. This feature is replicable for any ESDT token in the future. Metastaking Phase 2 will bring the ability to also stake Farm tokens and earn additional rewards.

Weekly #elrondtech 🛠️ 1/ Multi ESDT & NFT transfers have been implemented in the maiar Exchange service transactions. Several different tokens can be transferred with the same transaction, thus improving overall performance by reducing the number of TXs & amount gas used.

Most devs solve 99% of their problems by looking them up online. But when building something truly new, innovative solutions which cannot be reached via conventional means give a unique value to an entire architecture.

Weekly #elrondtech 👇 1/ Preparations for open staking: a more inclusive validator model & the migration of the delegation functionalities directly into the system smart contract, decreasing trust concerns between delegators and providers while enabling governance.

Looking back at over one year of weekly tech reports is like looking down from the top of a mountain, after slowly & painfully climbing it, step by step. It’s a humbling & inspiring view. Some extreme edge cases were found and fixed.

Transaction finality is one of the key metrics when considering blockchain speed. Here’s how it works in @ElrondNetwork’s protocol. 1/ “Transaction finality” represents the time needed for a transaction to be irreversible. Roll-back mechanisms, such as fork recovery, can invalidate blocks and thus transactions. For this reason, a transaction is only considered final if it is included in an old-enough block.
