Who are the new #BJP voters & what motivates their choice?

Pradeep Chhibber & I in our @StudiesIndian paper use @LoknitiCSDS survey and find that a new kind of ethnopolitical majoritarianism now binds BJP. This is distinct from the old Hindu Nationalist plank.

In our new book, Pradeep Chhibber & I challenge the dominant view that Indian politics is based on social cleavages & devoid of ideas.
