Rio, This Is Where it Ends by Marieke Nijkamp and Plain Bad Heroines by Emily M. Danforth! For this list, we defined mystery as stories that focus on a puzzling crime, situation, or circumstance that needs to be solved. We defined thriller as a type of mystery that tends to be action-packed, page-turners with moments full of tension, anxiety, and fear.
