Take this example animation, it is a 600 x 600px video with 1 second of durations and 16fps. If we would use an image sequence approach to render this, we'd have to export 16 frames as images and build a player to run that on the correct fps Image

Let me tell you how I took this CPU usage of an 8 core server down from 800% to 140%. Image A while ago I got an email from @linode saying the server was peaking at 770% for a few hours. It was just a heads up since dedicated servers are designed to sustain such load for a long time without any issues. Image
