The last '90s Konami PC game is in captivity. I will now do a thread about archiving it Basically I'm just glad to have finally archived Oshiete Your Heart. I almost had it CIB but made a rookie auction mistake and lost. Not heartbreaking; the box is just a nice-to-have when the software is what matters. But I'd bet that other disc wasn't as bad!

So yeah, the release of My Summer Vacation/ぼくのなつやすみ turns 20 this week, unbelievably. Fair to say it's still my favorite video game. It even helped get me started in game journalism, among other things. If you know me, you know the story: scroll.vg/issues/10 I didn't even know about Boku no Natsuyasumi until a few months later, in a sidebar piece in this issue of the Tokyopop magazine. Arguably the only good thing Tokyopop ever did (look at least Stu didn't write the article)
