I rewatched the debate late into the night (s/o to @OldGloryClub for their livestream). Trump’s performance was even better than I realized in real time. Yet the response I saw on Twitter from large (ostensibly) pro-Trump accounts is clear evidence why conservatives are a dying breed. They deserve to go the way of the dodo, because they have no SPIRIT, no WILL to FIGHT for their people.

🧵In January 2021, the regime still commanded vastly more of The Narrative than it does today.

At the moment that tensions were highest, there was a staring contest among all the various factions in play, as each member weighed the consequences of saying “hold on, wait a second, we need to look a little closer at this,” vs simply following the course of history.

Then they suddenly all fell into place, instinctually following what they perceived to be the most powerful, stable player in the game.

That cost a TREMENDOUS amount of political capital, and the regime has spent the intervening 4 years just spending political capital like a drunken sailor. It stopped generating new political capital years ago.

JUST IN - Libertarian media giant Mises Institute is acquiring POLITICO in a deal worth $1 billion.

Can you just imagine how big of a deal that would be? Can you also imagine how incredibly little it would change about the current state? For every problem it would solve, it would create 10 more. It would dramatically enhance libertarians’ messaging capacity, and it would also MASSIVELY expand the attack surface for anyone seeking to undermine their efforts.

The clear purpose of stories like this one is to teach people through repetition that “unvaccinated” people are responsible for the deaths of “vaccinated” people.
