I'm old enough to remember when such laws were misused against people so they had no defense in a court of law as to why they stole classified info to give to the American people & the institutions from which the info was being withheld. All you can do is the prison time.
Strengthening these laws now only gives future weapons against whistleblowers and people who thought they were doing a public service and acting from conscience. And repeating McCarthy-era propaganda doesn't move the DoJ. Anyone remember the Pentagon Papers?

We cannot allow the dialogue about women's healthcare to be so blasé as to be considered a choice. You are either pro-healthcare or pro-slavery-era regulations on Black womens' bodies.
Don't ever let them forget that.
Their version of white Jesus wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a fetus at 12 weeks and a piece of beef gristle. There is no moral high ground.

5 years ago today i survived arrest at the hands of 11 FBI agents, 9 of whom where armed
i don't want to live in a country where that is a privilege
5 years ago i never thought I'd live long enough to wake up and go to CrossFit...today I woke up and am going coach CrossFit
but I'm incredibly sad that this accomplishment is such a rare outlier of those who survived
no one in the US should feel like a survivor of the DoJ
