My 83 year old paati came by Vande Bharath and got down at platform 5 in Tambaram station (TBM), & has to climb up and down because there are no lifts nor escalator (not that she can use it anyway).

Amrit Bharat Station Scheme is a scam, no point of cosmetic upgrades! We now had to walk down to platform 2 to catch suburban train because she can't use the escalators, it's too fast & not designed for elderly. No lifts on this platform either.

Even at cost of 1 crore per lift, we could easily afford to install 10 of them on all 5 platforms!
