This is the how @evvelu and @CMOTamilnadu have cut down decades old trees and demolished footpaths to bare minimum to make sure pedestrians SUFFER so that they can have one more lane to go in their AC cars.

Starting at Madhya Kailash walking till IIT Madras, we walk over storm water drain with TMT rods poking out and debries dumped. Flyover construction is going on rapidly while pedestrian infra is actively destroyed

My 83 year old paati came by Vande Bharath and got down at platform 5 in Tambaram station (TBM), & has to climb up and down because there are no lifts nor escalator (not that she can use it anyway).
Amrit Bharat Station Scheme is a scam, no point of cosmetic upgrades!
We now had to walk down to platform 2 to catch suburban train because she can't use the escalators, it's too fast & not designed for elderly. No lifts on this platform either.
Even at cost of 1 crore per lift, we could easily afford to install 10 of them on all 5 platforms!
