I did learn something new about tras yesterday:

For some of them, It is physically impossible to assimilate or acknowledge that not everyone is bisexual. 🖊️ In every other debate, after a while, there is a glimpse of common ground, for example when debating semantics and definitions most accept that we use the words man and woman in different ways, because they are the first ones to claim that gender is different than sex

It needs to be said again: It is not bigotry, it is not hatred, it is not fear, it's okay, valid, normal, common, reasonable, justifiable and authentic to be born homo sexual. I am a lesbian, a female homo-sexual. When I say female, I mean the colloquial definition, referring to my biological sex, not my identity. I exclude all males, regardless of how they identify, from my dating pool, because I am not oriented to any of them.

I have interacted with some activists for a few months and these are the Rights some are demanding:

1. They want the right to compell others to refer to them in any way they want, with threat of fines and prison for those who don't comply 2. They want the right to decide which prison facility they go in Case they commit crimes, and also the right to prevent their trans status to be recorded in present

Most dictionaries define "woman" as an adult female person. "Transwoman" is typically defined as an individual who was assigned male at birth who identifies as a woman. There are a few documented cases of people born with a DSD who exhibited ambiguous or both sets of external organs common to a particular biological sex during gestation or at the moment of birth, before proper genetic testing was available.

>Mum I'm trans
>Okay son I believed to be a pirate when i was a kid.

This approach is wrong, let me explain why: 🖊️ When your kid tells you he's a pirate, you don't have to dismiss him in such dismissive way. You may be tired after a long day at work. But you will do the effort.

>A pirate? Wow! That's so cool/scary!

>Which kind of pirate are you? Like Jack Sparrow? Or like a hacker?

Had a very interesting conversation with a colleague yesterday about the usage of pronouns. As you all know, I use the ones in third person to denote the unchanging sex of others. Or, what I perceive their sex to be. I never denied some people may try, and a few may succeed at hiding or modifying the morphological characteristics exhibited as consequence of their natural sexual development, which means some people may pass, initially.

Promoting idealization of medical conditions is wrong because it minimizes the experiences and challenges of those living with the conditions. It can also lead to stigmatization of those who do not conform to the idealized version of the condition. Idealization can also lead to a lack of understanding and support for those who are actually struggling with the condition. Additionally, it can lead to a lack of funding and resources for research and treatment of the condition.

CIS 🧵 UPDATED
#cisisaslur
#cisgenderingismisgendering
#respectmysex 'Cis' is quite literally aligning someone's personality with their biological sex which is a regressive, reductive, anti-feminist, and misogynistic.
