Gundam Complete Record, volumes 1 - 5. Volume 5 implicitly gives credence to the fanzines and doujinshi made by both fans of all genders, but primarily fujoshi of their day. 0079's importance in Queer JP culture supercedes that of most Western interpretations of that movement. Image As an individual who documents these works profusely, one of the first major 0079 data zines pre-Gunsight was ZAKU. I own volumes 2 to 5, and the group was run primarily by young queer women as well as fujos. It's been fully archived. Image

It's time 🧵 TW// themes of mud3r, inc3st, fascist themes and some other "problematic" themes ahead. I wanted to discuss my copy of Mikuri Shizawa (塩沢みくり)/Syndicate Shinsha's 1984 0079 Gundam anthology manga/doujinshi for a while, so now I will finally dig on in-

Amuro and Lalah don't distinctly have a romantic relationship, they just understood one another in a way nobody else could. Lalah x Char were fully devoted to one another imo and were in love more than ever. I enjoy the polycule all the same but I think it's a part of me that likes to make the distinction between their relationships. Amuro x Char is also at times Char not understanding why Amuro keeps winning via plot armor vs Amuro being obsessed with him and what he represents.

I forgot to mention, but I am on the hunt for some decently priced copies of Inui and Tatsumi to scan and translate! This is, by Yas' standards, his last real dedicated manga, and I have seen so many great things said about it. I will keep you all posted! Its probably, imo, some of the best and original military fiction at the moment that mixes some non-fiction elements as well, and what pages and watercolors I have seen really have left my mind running wild with what really goes on. Its been covered quite a bit also overseas!

"Psst, hey buddy...." "Forgive me Tomino, for I have sinned."
"What did you do, Gaijin?"
"I said ZZ was mid on the internet."
"Eternal damnation for you. You will rot in the hell fires, there is no hope."

New Taxonomy on Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's design sensibilities during his career (a thread) My original research began many years ago, sometime in 2016, after receiving a comprehensive settei booklet that covered the 1983 Crusher Joe film. While this was Yas' first directorial debut, I was more interested as an illustrator about where he actually drew inspiration.
