Early in my career I received 3 pieces of advice which I'd love to share

1) If you have an 8-5 job, what you do between 5pm and 8am next morning will make a huge difference. Invest your afterwork time. Early in your career, nothing has higher compound interest than your time 1/N I used my after-work time to pursue professional certifications, wrote articles that got published, and worked extensively on my favorite skill. See you after-work time as an asset. Consider active methods of rest (eg. a hobby, a skill, a sport) as opposed to passive resting. 2/

I would support a plan where Kenya exports 200K skilled workers every yr to Europe, USA, Dubai, & Australia. Kenya has an oversupply of talented and skilled people and the world is willing to pay the price. Labour mobility is a good thing and we cant absorb all our talent locally I actually think very few things have as high developmental impact than having open borders.
